Dani Coop, Agricultural Cooperative, was founded in Sarno, in the province of Salerno, thanks to the determination of local farmers to combine their knowledge and skills in the cultivation of the "San Marzano" tomato, following traditional methods that have been passed down for centuries. It was founded by the Ruggiero family in 1910 and since then it has grown to a total of 60 members cultivating around 200 hectares. Specializing in the production, processing and distribution of San Marzano DOP tomatoes, Dani Coop complies with Slow Food Presidium standards and is registered with local agricultural organizations. It ensures careful supervision of every stage of production, from the supply of seedlings to the harvest, guaranteeing the traceability and high quality of every tomato sold.
San Marzano DOP tomatoes are protected designation of origin and come from the San Marzano ecotype near Vesuvius in Italy. With a characteristic flavor and firm structure, these tomatoes are ideal for making sauces and other culinary products. They are known for their alignment and the high quality they bring to the kitchens of chefs and amateur cooks worldwide.
