Ahmad Tea started in 1986 when Mr. Rahim Afhar and his brothers were inspired by their love for tea and their family's history in the tea trade. The business was founded in Southampton, England, above the family store Kabir Tea Shop. Their vision was to create a tea blend that was enjoyed by tea lovers around the world.
Development and Innovation
Their first mix was released in 1987, targeting the luxury gift market. Since that moment, the company has not stopped growing. In 1989, Ahmad Tea moved to companies in Hampshire and partnered with large chains such as El Corte Ingles in Spain. By 1998, the company had expanded into Eastern Europe, while in 2000 it won one of the leading positions in the tea market of Russia and the Middle East.
